Hawaii Pumpkin Patch. It’s probably not the first thing that springs to mind when you consider Hawaii!

I’m not going to lie, I lived on Oahu for 7 years before I even considered visiting a pumpkin patch here!

However, being a basic girl at heart (East Coast born and bred.) Fall is truly my favorite season! And one of the things that makes it such, is all of the adorably fun fall activities that spring up as soon as those leaves start to change!

…Or in our case… As soon as those trade winds start coming back! And our sweltering 85 degree weather changes to a crisp 75 degrees. (I know, I know, we are spoiled brats!)

So naturally, learning that there was a pumpkin patch right in our backyard here in Hawaii, my excitement couldn’t be contained!

Right here in Hawaii, are all the fall activities that my little heart could desire!!

Pumpkins and hay rides. Photo ops galore. A petting zoo and even a “pumpkin’ chucker”!

In addition to all the pumpkin fun, they also have a beautiful sunflower field! (I might have been even more interested in the sunflowers, if you can believe it!)

Waimanalo Country Farms is truly an incredible farm set deep in the heart of Waimanalo. The sweeping mountain backdrop and opposite ocean views make it truly the most beautiful pumpkin patch I have ever experienced.

If you have little ones, or even if you don’t, I absolutely recommend checking it out for a fun weekend activity in October!

Since it is Hawaii, mid-afternoon does get pretty warm, so I would suggest hats and sunscreen as well as water bottles. However one of the weekends we went (Yup we went more than once!) we got there late afternoon, it was a lot less crowded and it was much cooler since the sun was heading down for the day. The pumpkin selection was a little more picked through, but there were still plenty to choose from! I think it was a pretty fair trade off to be honest.

And last but not least don’t forget to grab yourself some our their fresh Country Lemonade before you go! Sooo good!! (I was please to discover they accept all major credit cards as well as cash!)

For more info on the farm and their scheduled hours please visit their website here.
